| well, the countdown has officially begun.. exactly 12 days from today my family leaves for africa. i'm so psyched out about it, there's only one little problem.. my passport still hasn't come back from the government.. and we still have to send it off to get a visa after we get it back.. so, this is definately a huge exercise in trust for us, because i really don't want to end up staying here.. of course, then i could work more, but i really really really want to go... and i will, cause God is gonna bring that passport at just the right time... but it would still be appreciated if you could pray for that.  well, other than that, what is going on, i need work.. that's what.. lol, and i've been getting quite a bit of work lately, at various and sundry places.. i've been working pretty regularly at a metal shop that a friend owns, so that's been fun.. and i'm going to hopefully pressure wash people's houses and stuff before we leave.. enough to get a few hundred bucks, hopefully.. cause i need money. lol. oh, ok, this friday night we're going to have a bonfire.. i think, i need to run it by my mom, but it's pretty sure that there's going to be a bonfire/chillax time at my house this friday.. so come and chillax with us.. lol, well, gotta go.

| well.. i apologize, it has been a LONG time since i have updated... that is completely my fault, and i have no excuse other than i just completely forgot... so, with that said, on to my life.. well, what i call my life, i don't know if anyone else would enjoy living my life, but i like my life, so there.. hahaha, sorry, weird mood. ok, so, what has happened in my life that is significant.. well, nothing really, at least, nothing significant.. which i hate to say, cause you know i've been searching for a job for about as long as i can remember, which isn't very long seeing as my memory sucks, but you get the point, a long time. i still have not found one. so, my plan, that i'm pretty sure i'm going to pursue, is to offer my services to people around where i live.. namely, i'm going to focus on pressure washing houses. since i really enjoy doing that, and i figure that no one else likes to or just doesn't have the time. so, my plan is to charge about 100 dollars a house, and since i can hopefully do a house in 3-6 hours, that's quite a haul.. the only problem is renting the pressure washer, getting gas, etc. etc.. but i hope that it works out, cause i really need to start making money, bad. hahaha, cause i have none, and i need some.. so. what else is going on. well, the biggest thing that i can think of right now is our trip out to africa. that is coming up, we're leaving on the 20th of july, and i still haven't gotten my passport back from the government, actually, my mom hasn't either, and we kind of sort of need those to go. you know what i'm saying? lol, anyway, so if you could pray for that, i would appreciate it very much. let's see, we're leading a short term mission's team out to africa, they're gonna stay for two weeks, we'll be out there three and a half.. we're gonna visit our village, sebba, out in the boondocks, see people there, and truth to tell, this might very well be the last time i ever go back.. i pray not, but it might be, so i hope that it goes well, and that i learn all that God wants me to.. hopefully maybe bring some closure on that part of my life.. oh, but it's also gonna mark the beginning of a new part of my life, i'm getting baptised out there, in the village where i grew up.. my dad is gonna baptise me, so, pray that goes well, it's gonna mean a lot to me and my dad and hopefully all our friends out there... so, it should be a very good trip. one of my goals while i'm there, on a fun note, is to get a very high quality knife, not just any knife, but one that will commemorate africa for me, hopefully for a long time. well, that's about it for now.. i'll try to update more frequently from now on.

| sup peoples?
not much going down over here... well, ok, maybe there is some stuff...school has been out for exactly a week now, and summer is going very well... i applied for a job at this ice cream shop/coffee shop just opening on 16, and it looks pretty likely that i'll get it.. hopefully that will work out, they are supposed to call me tonight and let me know.. so we'll see about that... i just spent the night at tyler's house and i did not do anything illegal.. hahahaha, sarah.. anyway, yeah, that was fun.. tyler scared me with a syringe, it wasn't nice.. we're going to go bowling on saturday, then have a picnic afterwards, that's gonna be fun, cause we're buying all the food on the spot, not buying it ahead of time or anything.. it should turn out good.. oh, i just got an idea, we should have like weekly bonfires at my house.. that would be awesome.. i'll check with the madre and get back to ya'll on it.. anyway, see ya'll later..
